Financial Student Aid

Through Financial Student Aid (FSA), the U.S. Department of Education awards more than $120 billion a year to about 13 million eligible students in the form of grants or low-interest loans.

Detailed information about this federal program and how to apply can be found on the FSA website, studentaid.gov

A student can check whether grants or loans may be available and in what amount, by going to studentaid.gov and clicking on the FAFSA financial aid application app, “Free Application for Student Aid” or by accessing it directly at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

To inquire about eligibility and amount of financial aid available to you, you will have to provide some basic information such as a valid Social Security number, a high-school diploma or a GED certificate, previous use of financial aid if any and family situation, according to the type of financial aid you are seeking.

To receive financial aid, you must show proof of admission at New School Center for Media.
